Combine Power Posing With Belief Altering Activities

So you are interesting in creating a better future for yourself, utilizing the principles of Law of Attraction and co-creation. Then you are already aware of the fact that you need to change some of your beliefs that are limiting you, and are indicated via a negative feeling, in order to manifest your desired result.
Yet, seems harder than it sounds after actually trying to implement these new beliefs, and make them stick. Old behaviors and patterns tend to return after a few days of practice, even though your intent was to make a lasting change.

We receive exactly what we expect to receive - John Holland

How can we change that from happening?

One example is to combine the practice of intentional power posing with the life-affirming actions of thought control via affirmations and mantras.

Far & Wide Collective
This means in practice, that throughout a practice session, which ideally should happen three times a day for about 10 minutes, but at a minimum during your morning routine for 10 minutes, one assumes a power pose. You can use any powerful stance you like, as long as you stand up straight, with your chin high and your eyes forward, shoulders rolled back, and not slouched. For more information on power poses, you can watch Amy Cuddy’s video here, I especially like the pose she calls “Wonder Woman Pose”. After holding this position for two minutes, sit comfortably but again in a powerful position, meaning straight, with your feet on the ground, and in an upright, not slouched position, and repeat your chosen affirmations, or mantras, as you would usually.

At this time, you are now integrating this new belief, while being the physical and chemical state of powerfulness. The most instantly noticeable change is, that your feelings will be of a more positive nature, than if you just practiced from a standard position. In the long-run you will feel overall more powerful, and open to your new beliefs with a more lasting, effect. A powerful place from which to become an effective co-creator.

Have a wonderful day!

Book Review: Appreciation Marketing – How To Achieve Greatness Through Gratitude

Title:  Appreciation Marketing – How To Achieve Greatness Through Gratitude

AuthorTommy Wyatt

Genre: Marketing, Self-Help

Publisher: Amazon Digital Services

Rating: 5/5 Stars

There are some book that are read, and forgotten, and then there are books that remind you of what you should already know and do but give you the kick to actually follow through upon that knowledge.

This book is of the latter kind, a book on practical gratitude and appreciation especially for people who are in some form of business of their own, no matter what service or product you sell, or value you give. It challenges you to actively give thanks, on a regular basis and tells you why – outside of the ever present, even if important daily gratitude ritual.
Gratitude is a way of life, a way of being, and a philosophy we should embrace in every aspect of our life. It is not something you o once a day, not solely placed somewhere on the pages of a notebook. This book is a reminder of that.
If you are interested at all in the principles of co-creation, personal growth or even Law of Attraction, then embracing a life of gratitude. It will change your life!
This book can tell you why.

Gratitude Post – Hug Edition

Claudia H. Blanton: "Hugs"

                                                    Hugs by Claudia H. Blanton

As I am sitting here this morning, trying to think of what  I am grateful for, I must admit, I was taken out of the momentum, by losing my connection and having to crash my computer. It was easy to practice gratitude from the point of preparation, but moving through the unexpected occurrences and annoyances of living here, and dealing with issues I would not have to deal with, where we still living in Tampa, undid the state of mind, I so carefully constructed for myself.

But is that not a part of life, wanting to stay in the moment of gratitude and appreciation, staying upbeat and following the laws that govern us to be happy in the now, even when life happens?

Within the moments of disruption is a chance to practice our vibrational alignment  to gratitude, a fact alone that we should be grateful for. The lesson within is important – no matter what the perceived reality is bringing toward us, we can stay in a constant stream of appreciation.

In that sense, that is what I am –  this week, this morning grateful for – the chance to practice my alignment to gratitude and through that to what I seek.

– What are you grateful for this week? Why not share it with our blog hop and connect with us via our wonderful host Lexa Cain! We are looking forward to hearing from you!

Blessings

Co-Creating At It’s Best by Dr. Wayne Dyer and Ester Hicks – A Book Review

Co-Creating At It's Best

Title: Co-creating at Its Best: A Conversation Between Master Teachers

Author: Dr. Wayne Dyer and Ester Hicks

Genre: Self-Help/Law of Attraction

Release Date: December 2nd, 2014

Publisher: Hay House

Rating: 3/5 Stars

I am a huge fan of Abraham, so I was really exited to hear of a new book by Esther Hicks, and even more so in combination with Dr. Dyer.
While I enjoyed their conversation, I found it lacking something new. If you have read their books, listened to their recordings or been to their shows, both Ester and Dr. Dyer are not bringing anything new to the table at this point, something that really is a different twist, or a different approach, or sparks more than just a moderate interest. I would recommend this book only for the fans of these two, but not as a stand-alone book, even less so as an introduction to the subject matter of co-creation, or to the energy named “Abraham”.

This book was provided to me by Netgalley for free in exchange for an honest review.

Restriction – A Haiku

Restriction - A Haiku

Restriction

the walls of a box
confined in societies
norm, are a prison

Copyright Claudia H. Blanton 2014

This post is inspired by the Daily Prompt “Envelope Pushers”.

I live this thought to the fullest, not falling into any norm – not on purpose, as a rebellion, but because I follow what is true to my heart.

I am an openly practicing Hedge Witch, I live by the principles of Law of Attraction, my kids have never stepped one foot in a school, but I am not a housewife, I run our business from at home, and well, duh – I write. I am the only one in my family that moved out-of-town – I took it even further, I moved to a different continent.

There is freedom in no one expecting any more (with a few sad exceptions), that I follow the norm. Norm is not what you get with me. Honesty, love, passion, empathy, a willingness to allow you to share your story with me, to release your burden – yes, I can give you that. Norm is not one of them. I am having too much fun outside of the box.

Dare

Dare

Take The Chance

breaking free, I dare
to dream far beyond the stars
time to take the chance

Claudia H. Blanton 2014

Today, we were asked to finish the sentence:

“Life is too short to __________”.

Here is my answer:

Life is too short to wait for chances to find you – forge your own way. I have no time for small dreams, that do not inspire, rather I dream big, and if I fall short of some of them, I still came a heck of a lot further than someone who dreamed small.

Do you dream big? Do you take actions toward goals that inspire you, motivate you, make you think of possibilities? And (more importantly), do you have a reason to follow through on them, something that propels you to take actions every single day?

Mine is simple:

I want to live my dreams to inspire my children to live theirs. If I can achieve what I want, they at least will see that there is a possibility for them to achieve their own, and forge their own way. Remember, we need more people on fire in this world, not more people who wait for things to happen to them.

The Magic by Rhonda Byrnes – A Review

The Magic - A Book Review

Title: The Magic

Author: Rhonda Byrnes

Publisher: Atria

Rating: 5/5 Stars

Gratitude, the practice of true gratitude, not a simple uttering of thank you’s, but a deep emotional connection to the subject matter can have a profound effect on a life. True gratitude reduces stress, allows us to focus on the abundance that is already in our lives, and gives us a chance to let go off fear. From this state of gratitude we can heal, we can attract, we can experience more to be grateful for.

The Magic by Rhonda Byrnes (the author of The Secret) holds within it a vast variety of techniques and themes that help us focus our gratitude, and allows the reader to make it a daily practice. Set in daily assignments, that are easy to follow, yet profound, this book asks you to practice, not just read your way through.

I highly recommend this book, even more so than the Secret, because it contains the true key to using it in the first place. Finding a place of gratitude brings happiness, no matter where you are at the moment, or at least a moment of peace, from which the reader can attract more. If you are interesting working with Law of Attraction, this is where you need to start – not with all of the principles, the quotes and promises, but with it’s most important principle – Gratitude.
