We laughed at the people scattering, as rain, began to fall as if the rain was the poison to their day. To us, it was an elixir, a potion that made us stronger. We danced, skipping through the empty park, with nothing but our love as a companion. Giddy moments, that would never leave my heart, even now that she was long gone, her body taken by old age, leaving me with nothing but the memories of her gentle laughter. And the scent of rain in her hair.

Reminds me a little of that joyous scene Gene Kelly did in Singin’ in the rain. 🙂
